    The Senior Digital Product Manager for First Republic’s Private Wealth Management (PWM) division will be responsible for supporting the strategic roadmap, product development, and support of PWM’s Digital offering. This individual will be responsible for conception, development, delivery, maintenance and evolution of the PWM’s digital platforms. This individual will work cross-functionally with front line producers (e.g. Wealth Managers), Clients, Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Marketing as well as 3rd party vendors in a fast paced environment.

    This role will work directly with the VP, Digital Channels for Private Wealth Management at First Republic.

     

     

    What you'll do as a Senior Product Manager, Digital Wealth

    • Work alongside senior management and key stakeholders to define the vision, scope, and roadmap for the PWM’s Digital offerings.
    • Effectively execute against the roadmap and provide on-going support to PWM’s Digital offerings.
    • Meet with internal and external clients and integrate user feedback into the PWM Digital offerings.
    • Provide day-to-day oversight, management, reporting, and troubleshooting of products under management.
    • Monitor competitive trends, evaluate relative product positioning, benchmark PWM relative to key competitors, and identify areas for differentiation. Leverage this data to influence the roadmap.
    • Optimize the services of our partnered vendors by effectively managing the relationships and their deliverables.
    • Champion PWM Digital offerings to key enterprise partners and senior management across bank.
    • Working in a hands-on way, successfully manage and deliver large and complex projects. Provide leadership on major initiatives, including vendor solution contracts, implementations and integrations, new product development, etc.
    • Keep abreast of regulatory, legal and industry best practices to maintain compliance and an appropriate level of risk, particularly related to internet security. Partner closely with leadership of Audit, Enterprise Risk Management,
    • Information Systems, Information Security and Compliance/ Legal to develop and recommend related risk management activities.
    • Provide day-to-day oversight, management, reporting, and troubleshooting of products under management.
    • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements.
    • Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
    • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.

     

    Requirements:

    • Deep experience developing and managing Digital products, i.e. websites, mobile apps (7+ Years.)

    • Experience working in Financial Services, preferably in Wealth Management (5+ years)

    • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

    • Proven working experience in product management with a track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

    • Ability to work across multiple internal stakeholders, business areas, and external providers to develop and deliver high quality solutions (From ideation through to implementation.)

    • Strategic thinker in online and mobile with ability to execution and manage day-to-day operations.

    • Ability to look at key client needs coupled with the latest technology trends impacting consumer’s in the online banking space and translate into business requirements.

    • Strong understanding of information architecture and data process flows and exchanges.

    • A strong team player and leader (Planning, Communications, and Managerial Skills.)

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to deliver presentations and coordinate across the firm. Experience soliciting, gathering, analyzing, user input and requirements.

    • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job.

    • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.

    Physical/Mental Requirements:

    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
