    This role will be responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of all tools related to the CI/CD tool stack.  Implementation of the tools along with appropriate integrations and customizations to help further the modern development efforts here at the Bank.  This role will work closely with users and engineers to provide a world class experience.  Automation will be a key focus as we look to grow and expand the CI/CD process in support of getting key initiatives to market at a breakneck pace.  Experience with secure coding standards is a plus.

     

    What you’ll do as a DevOps Tools Engineer:

    • Architect / Design and implement the continuous delivery platform
    • Support and maintain all development stack tools and plugins
    • Champion test-driven development and agile best practices
    • Evaluate applications deployed in production and make recommendations to improve security, scalability, performance and availability
    • Implement deployment automation from code check-in to production
    • Implement self-healing/immutable services that development can rely on
    • Act as a consultant promoting the use of CI/CD automation in the develop and deploy cycles.

     

     

    What skills you will use:

    • BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience and 5+ years professional experience
    • Experience with virtualization concepts and technologies and experience designing, installing,administering, and troubleshooting in a cloud environment (public / private / hybrid)
    • Python Full Stack development experience using, NodeJS, etc
    • Experience with working with multiple Operating systems and devices is a big plus
    • Working knowledge and experience with containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) is a must
    • Familiarity with multiple DB formats including MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc
    • Experience with various scripting and programming languages such as Perl, Python, Shell Scripting, Jython, Ruby, JSON, Java, REST services
    • 5 years' experience with architecting and implementing Deployment Automation and Configuration Management tools like Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, etc
    • Familiarity with Jira, Slack, GitHub and other tools to support and automate the dev stack.
    • Experience with cloud computing solutions such as Rackspace, MicrosoftAzure, AWS, etc

    Physical Requirements:

    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel in a limited capacity
