    Administrative Services and Facilities comprises several groups supporting corporate office operations for First Republic, including Facilities, Corporate Purchasing, Mail Room, Reception, and Architectural Design & Development. Our people serve our colleagues’ in-office needs in multiple regions throughout the United States.


    The Office Assistant, Mailroom is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and distributing all package deliveries, interoffice/interbranch mail, courier service shipments, and US mail for First Republic Bank, primarily for the corporate offices.


    What you'll do as an Office Assistant, Mailroom

    • Picks up all Corporate mail throughout day
    • Distributes mail twice daily
    • Tracks incoming and outgoing packages; assists employees in located missing packages
    • Checks e-mail and voice-mail regularly throughout the day; responds to all such messages when appropriate
    • Informs employees of personal items to be picked up
    • Informs IS of packages arriving in Mailroom
    • Operates postage machine with postage software for outgoing U.S. mail
    • Maintains supply levels for overnight, courier, and US mail functions – including interoffice envelopes
    • Attends to all postal issues, including Postage by Phone and maintaining proper postage fund levels for all branches
    • Administrates primary Business Reply Mail functions for all branches: monitors Permit and Accounting Fund validity, ensures proper levels of Trust Fund accounts are maintained; prepares check requisitions when payments are needed
    • Evaluates shipping invoices to ensure all charges listed are valid

    Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Remains informed of job-related issues through networking, training programs, seminars and trade publications
    • Maintains a neat and organized workspace
    • Attends meetings when required
    • Maintains a flexible work schedule
    • Performs other duties when assigned
