    The Operations Associate is responsible for the integration of new investment teams and the onboarding of new clients. This responsibility includes but is not limited to new account opening and maintenance, asset movements (disbursements), account transfers (ACAT and non-ACAT), and internal client service.


    What you’ll do as an Operations Associate, New Accounts:

    • Facilitate the client onboarding process for all new Investment Professionals
    • Track exception approvals and one-off requests
    • Set up internal systems with all regulatory required client data
    • Review transfer statements
    • Account opening (Custodial & APX)
    • Process and Track ACAT and Non-ACAT requests.
    • Complete and submit all audit related paperwork for final approval
    • Account maintenance such as compiling reports, processing account changes, online access, statement linking, document scanning, transfers and disbursements
    • Answer client service help lines, answering routine questions and escalating issues to management, when appropriate
    • Ensure compliance with both internal and regulatory policy and procedures


    What skills you will use:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
    • 1 - 3 years of financial services experience at a brokerage firm or registered investment advisor/manager, preferred
    • New accounts or client onboarding experience, a plus
    • Series 7 & 63 license preferred
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
    • Proficient in Excel and Word
    • Experience with NetX & LexisNexis, a plus
    • Team player with positive energy who is dedicated and motivated to learn and contribute to the overall success of Private Wealth Management
    • Detail-oriented and reliable
    • Handles challenges head on with little guidance
    • Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proven history of providing extraordinary service
    • Ability to further the First Republic Bank culture and values 

    Job Demands:

    • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
    • Must be able to travel as position requires.
