The Credit Approval and Administration team provides education, guidance and best practices related to First Republic’s credit culture and policy. Our team includes members of the Executive Loan Committee and Credit Administration who approve and monitor loans in accordance with our credit culture and policy.
Responsible for reviewing new commercial loans, renewals and modifications to ensure key aspects of approval conform with the loan documents, the loan accounting system (ASF Level 3), and the covenant tracking system LoanVantage. Discrepancies and missing or defective documentation requiring resolution are raised with, as applicable, Executive Loan Committee, Loan Servicing, Relationship Managers and Business Bankers, with related comments entered into the Observation tracking log. Covenants and due date ticklers are entered into or confirmed on the LoanVantage system.
Key requirements of the position include: developing a strong knowledge of loan documents; developing proficiency with AFS Level 3 and LoanVantage; excellent attention to detail; strong interpersonal skills; a desire to learn; plus the ability to effectively manage time and changing priorities.
