    The Business Analysis Associate will be a member of the Private Wealth Management (“PWM”) business administration team assisting with business results reporting and compensation management, research and analysis and issue resolution. The Business Analysis Associate will analyze process flow and work with various functional groups to implement process improvements and achieve automation. The Business Analysis Associate will also be responsible for preparing recurring and ad-hoc reports, creating and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation, responding to audit and regulatory inquiries.


    The position will interact with Executive Management, PWM Business Administration Team, PWM Operations Teams, Wealth Management professionals, HR and Compensation Teams, Accounting and other functional groups.


    The position will be trained to fill in as needed for a variety of additional functions.


    What you will do as Associate, Business Analysis:

    • Develop a detailed understanding of products and services offered by PWM, as well as billing and compensation processes and systems.
    • Perform analysis of business results and compensation programs; research and drive resolution of questions and issues.
    • Assume ownership of questions and drive towards their resolution.
    •  Lead or assist with special reporting projects as assigned.
    •  Lead tracking and results reporting for incentive programs.
    •  Recommend and develop new/enhanced reporting methods and documentation. Drive process improvements to strengthen controls, enhance data integrity and reduce production time. Work to automate recurring reports and streamline existing processes.
    • Create and maintain department procedure documentation; gather information and respond to internal and external audit requests.
    • Work with wealth management professionals, bankers, Client Service Associates, HR Compensation Team, Accounting and Executive Management on compensation-related projects.
    • Assist with requests for information and financial analysis for PWM compensation and other initiatives.
    • Assist with creation of any review/updated for PWM business plan.
    •  Assist with financial diligence for onboarding of new investment professionals.
    •  Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities.
    •  Perform other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
    •  Responsibilities include the following:  1) adhering to and complying with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank. 


    What skills you will use:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Statistics
    • 2 years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically in operations, consulting and/or data management reporting
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
    • Excellent analytical and organization skills

    • Ability to handle confidential information with careful discretion and in a mature and professional manner
    • Ability to plan and work independently with little direct supervision effectively in an entrepreneurial, dynamic and time-sensitive environment

    • Advanced Excel skills including use of shortcut keys, Access, SQL Server, Tableau knowledge is a plus
