    The Operations Associate is responsible for the reconciliation of equity and fixed income accounts.  This responsibility includes but is not limited to resolving breaks and exceptions between FRIM’s account system Advent APX and the holdings reported by the various custodians, on a daily basis.  This reconciliation must be performed accurately to prevent possible risk related to trading and corporate actions.  The individual must be a team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


    What you will do as Operations Associate:

    • Quality assurance of daily reconciliation of Custodial cash and securities to our internal system. Liaise with offshore reconciliation team with outstanding items.
    • Maintain systems by accurately tracking pricing, corporate actions, security master and system quality control.
    • Respond to inquiries and requests from internal teams across the organization.
    • Preparation of weekly and monthly reconciliation reports.
    • Ensure department is audit ready and assist in both internal and external audits pertaining to accounts maintained on APX system.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by department managers and/or senior associates.


    What skills you will use:

    • Must have strong Portfolio reconciliation knowledge
    • 2 + years of Advent AXYS or APX experiences required
    • Must be detailed-oriented and capable of completing the workload in an accurate and timely manner
    • Proficient in MS Excel
    • Dataport, Rex or Moxy knowledge a plus
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills 
    • 4-year college degree with a business concentration
    • Corporate Action experience a plus
    • Proven history of providing extraordinary service
    • Ability to further the First Republic Bank culture and values
