The Director, Advanced Planner position services multiple client segments and will be responsible for the marketing, development, design, delivery, and implementation of comprehensive financial plans as well as other wealth planning deliverables. The Director Advanced Planner will serve the clients and prospects of several Wealth Managers in the San Francisco Bay Area.  The position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking to build a career in financial planning and Wealth Management. Responsibilities range from client consultations, assessments, data collection, data input, analysis, client recommendations and client plan delivery.   What you’ll do as a Director, Advanced Planner:   Primary Responsibilities include: - Develop and deliver consultations, assessments or financial plans that include: - Compiling information, conducting research and assembling all applicable client data necessary to develop a solid, viable, meaningful financial plan; this process often involves direct contact with the client/client delegates and/or the need for investigative research using available online tools. - Utilizing financial planning software to build financial models based on client data and information compiled. - Independently analyzing data and perform quality control testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the analysis developed by the financial planning software. - Take the lead in developing, reviewing, and completing financial plans, client documentation and analysis. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, accountants, and attorneys to ensure data, analysis and plans are accurate and complete. - Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with First Republic Relationship Managers, First Republic Investment Management Wealth Advisors and Wealth Managers. - Work independently on client cases. - Prepare, develop, and deliver financial plans to clients and prospects. - Actively engage internal partners and designated Wealth Managers. - Communicate directly with clients regarding the development of their financial plan. This may also include communicating with a client’s other advisors such as accountants and attorneys. Secondary Responsibilities: - Prepare appropriate engagement letters and welcome packages to be sent to clients. - Prepare and/or develop various analytics and presentations for use internally or with clients. - Collecting data and accurately using the data in financial planning software such as eMoney. - Manage and maintain confidential client information. - Being aware of and track client engagements and the work in progress as well as the work needed to complete the client engagement. - Maintain data needed to measure outcomes of the client engagements. - Coordinate with Wealth Advisors, Relationship Managers and Wealth Management teams and internal resources on client engagements. - Manage financial planning fee engagement invoicing. - Participate or lead various special projects related to planning.

The product manager joining our team will be responsible for transformation of business capabilities and the digital enablement of our internal users, primarily the Sales and Operations teams working on the loan origination system, nCino, for the Personal Line of Credit (PLOC) loan product. You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of user needs and business processes, identify areas of friction/opportunity throughout the customer journey, and drive delivery of complex initiatives that tackle both operational and technology challenges with a high level of ownership, visibility, and responsibility.   What you’ll do as a Product Manager: - Define user needs, process flows and translate to product requirements. Partner with development teams to release new features/function in a rapid, iterative, test and learn fashion - Facilitate cross-functional collaboration - engineering, architecture, design, product development, program management, operations teams, and business units - to deliver scalable and best in class solutions within desired timelines - Own the product roadmap and continuously groom and maintain the JIRA backlog; ensuring it accurately reflects both business priorities and technical feasibility/dependencies. - Breakdown challenges and tradeoffs options into simple terms, provide recommendations and drive consensus to keep momentum and deliver against committed timelines - Make tough priority calls and trade-offs balancing business needs with constraints of time, talent, and risk. - Be the voice of the user, ensuring deliverables released are of high utility and usability. Be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing User Acceptance Testing, Production Smoke Testing etc. - Lead business change management activities as part of releases, including appropriate training, communications, and any other support processes required for a successful launch - Define KPI’s and manage capabilities to ensure appropriate measure of success are built into enhancements to accurately measure impact - Navigate a complex organization and variety of stakeholders to gain buy-in for new initiatives and lead cross functional projects - Become a subject matter expert for the new features and functionality so you can support the team with tasks such as data reviews, perform and coordinate user acceptance testing, defect triage, demos, production support, and training
